Waiting Room

When you enter the clinic you will be greeted by our friendly staff and asked to complete our New Patient Intake Forms. 

There is  a wide variety of reading material including both educational and leisure materials.  There is a coloring table for the kids, as well as puzzles, lego and other toys. 

We also have a lending library of Health Books covering a wide range of topics from Pregnancy to Herbal Remedies. 

Therapeutic Pillows, topical analgesics, rehabiliation products and spring water are available.

Examination and Treatment Rooms

Upon completion of your paperwork you will be escorted to one of our Examination/Treatment rooms.  You will be asked to change into a gown for your examination. 

The doctor will conduct a detailed case history which includes a review of your general health, family history and the specifics of your presenting complaint.

The doctor will then perform an examination which includes a postural analysis, gait analysis, orthopedic testing and neurological testing.  He or she will also check the alignment and motion of your spine and other joints.   

Following your case history and examination, the doctor may provide you with a requisition for x-rays.  They can be taken at any Capital Health site.  Results will be faxed to the clinic and to your Medical Doctor's office, normally within a few days.   

The results of your x-rays and examination will be explained in detail to you so that you understand your diagnosis completely. 

Massage Therapy Room

As a part of your plan of management, the doctor may recommend Massage Therapy. 

We are pleased to have Janice Smith-Bonin and Leeann Meredith provide this service to our patients. 

The room is equipped with cherry wood furniture and a sound system to provide both a therapeutic and relaxing atmosphere.
